Heath @ Manly Guitar Works did a complete Re-wire of and old Les Paul, and also a set-up. Guitar feels and plays great. The new electronics sound superb, with no crackles or hums. Great service. Highly recommended!

I’m a more mature learner and picked up a neglected Les Paul style guitar that needed some tlc which I hoped was mostly just cosmetic. When you’re new to something it’s easy for the experts to intimidate you with their knowledge but this certainly isn’t the case with Heath.
I first contacted him by phone to get a sense of his style and demeanour and he put me at ease straight away. He has an understated confidence which is infectious. I arranged to take the guitar up to him and let him assess my purchase and work his magic.
We’re not talking a Gibson classic here but the sense of it was that I had indeed got a half decent guitar for a good price.
Heath set the guitar up beautifully and restored a wonderful lustre to the body that belies its history. The guitar looks and feels great and is now worth significantly more than I paid for it. But the most significant thing for me is that the guitar feels fun to play even at my ham fisted stage of development and I want to pick it up to practice and play which is what it’s all about.
